Kills Rats and Mice!
Ramex is a multigenerational family-run business with over 50 years of service across the prairies. Our mission is to support farmers with an effective, reliable rodent control solution. Rooted in Manitoba, we are committed to providing a proven product that protects agricultural investments without creating bait shyness. With a focus on innovation and long-term relationships, we aim to help farmers safeguard their livelihoods for generations to come.
Rats and mice are responsible for destroying up to 20% of global food production annually, causing significant financial losses to farmers worldwide. The damage they inflict on crops, feed, and stored food results in millions of dollars in lost revenue, making effective rodent control critical to protecting agricultural investments.
Rodents are notorious for contaminating and destroying large amounts of crops, animal feed, and stored grains. This not only leads to substantial financial loss but also reduces the availability of safe food for both livestock and human consumption, making rodent infestations a serious threat to food security.
Rats are incredibly fast breeders, with a single pair capable of producing over 2,000 offspring in just one year. This rapid reproduction means that even small infestations can quickly spiral out of control, leading to extensive damage if not addressed promptly with effective rodent control solutions.
Rats reach sexual maturity in as little as 5 weeks, and females can have litters of up to 12 pups every 3 weeks. This fast breeding cycle allows rat populations to explode in a short time, making them difficult to eliminate without immediate intervention.
Mice, like rats, reproduce at an alarming rate, with a single female capable of producing between 40 to 60 offspring per year. Left unchecked, mice can infest homes, barns, and storage areas, multiplying quickly and causing both financial losses and health risks.
Rodents not only target food sources but also cause significant structural damage by gnawing on wiring, wood, insulation, and other materials. This can result in costly repairs for farmers, as well as increase the risk of fire hazards due to damaged electrical wiring, making rodent control essential for maintaining farm infrastructure.
